Not so Innocent any more...

Oooh, dear. There's a-trouble kicking off near Shepherd's Bush. Innocent Drinks, a firm I admire for managing the trick of appearing like nice people (always keep meaning to pop into their HQ and see if they really are...) and coming up with ace smoothies, is testing out its smoothies in McDonald's.

(Cue a theatrical scream and some DA-DA-DAAAAAH! music)

Like the cuddly people they profess to be, they owned up on their blog. And got a barrage of complaints from people who object to nice cosy Innocent dealing with an Evil Corporation. Of course! The bastards! They should pull their drinks from Tesco, Sainsburys, Starbucks and all the rest! Only sell them in nice independent shops to nice middle class people in London!

Or, of course, they could keep on trying to change things from the inside, and turn a profit too. Fair play to them - it's not as if they're being bought by McD's, they're just doing business with them. Good on them for being so honest, and I hope they come out of it stronger.

Pop in any time. We've got a new coffee machine and a bigger kitchen (just had it done up), so there's always a brew on the go.

Ace!

(No, I've been bought with the offer of fresh coffee! Aaaaagh!)
